Ally McCoist is my BIll Struth

Ally McCoist has catapulted himself up into the upper echelons  of Rangers legends

Each and every single player and member of the coaching staff is now a legend to me, no matter of their ability as a coach or player.
The second we went into administration with the threat of going out of existence the rules changed, big time.
Ally McCoist is "my" Bill Struth now (it was Graeme Souness).
We all know as a coach he's made a few strange decisions with questionable tactics. But the work he's done to keep our club alive has been amazing, if it wasn't for Ally's work behind the scenes we might not have a Rangers right now, that fact has bypassed the fools that are slating him now. I would bet my bottom dollar that a lot of the players that took the wage drop wouldn't be there and the club could have gone to the wall. Ally would have been instrumental in persuading them to stay, and the reasons why to stay.

He's also been meeting with potential new owners, we know the kind of character he is, people like him instantly, he knows the club better than anyone and is an intelligent guy. Who ever buys us will no doubt tell us how much Ally impressed them and helped them make the decision to buy us. Another fact missed by the people that hate him.

Right now the football takes a huge second place, each game should be a party in the stands showing the footballing world that we here, we're loud and we love our team. These guys, especially Ally have given me hope that the longest love of my life is going to hang around for a few more centuries, a fact by passed by the people slating Ally. I still find it unbelievable that people are slagging the guy???

The results don't matter and if you think they do you're an absolute disgrace!
What do you want? To win meaningless games or have a club to support in the future? You obviously don't see the bigger picture and are a very selfish individual. I could give two fucks if CFC win at Ibrox next week, so what? We're still the Worlds most successful football club and it's acutely obvious the shadow we cast over them is a lot longer and darker than any of us thought, as i said before, we should be flattered with the venom they're aiming at us, why else would the threat of us going out of business trigger such a twisted outpouring like this? I can't think of anything other than jealousy and twisted logic.

Ally will and should be our manager for the start of next season, he deserves it. No one reading this right now can say what kind of financial state we'll be in, or if we'll be here at all. We could be bought by the BK's and scrimp and scrape and have 5/6 years of mid table until we're stable again. Or we could be bought by someone with money to burn and still be the team to beat in the SPL. Lets hope it's the latter.
If Ally does get money to spend and get the players he wants with out loosing too many player from the current squad, then who knows, he may have learned from his mistakes and improve his tactical know how next season. I hope so, but Ally himself will know he's "on the clock" and will need to come out the blocks flying or else his job will be on the line.

If you're slagging Ally now, keep away from me, your priorities are very very wrong. I see the bigger picture, you don't and you are threatening the very existence of my club.

I want my club to survive, not win meaningless games during this traumatic period of our history.

Could Craig Whyte be a twisted "blessing in disguise"?

To kick off i want it to be perfectly clear that i hate Craig Whyte and all he's done to our club, the fans, and the credibility of our team.

Now, because i'm human, i'm going to contradict myself straight off the bat. "If" we get through this without going to the wall and have a smooth transition out of administration with respectable well off owner(s) that us as fans have taken to, could Craig Whyte have been a "blessing in disguise"?

I think he could. Ok, it's been a very awkward, uncomfortable, embarrassing **insert your own adjective here** for us all. We're all looking at the internet, written media and TV through gaps in our fingers right now but it is getting better when it comes to the clubs future, but i'm ready for a few more kick in the balls yet, don't worry about that.
There'll be people reading this asking ,"Why didn't the new owners and the bidders buy us before Whyte?" The answers simple, we're on our knees now and are easier to buy than we were back then. I personally don't care about "back then" these guys are businessmen and know what they are doing (yeah, i know, we've heard that before) they had their reasons, and may be there was other technicalities behind the scenes that we didn't and won't know about back then?

So if in a few weeks time we have a new owner presented to us in the Blueroom with a clear solid manifesto for our future with his own business history out in the open, well, maybe we'll look back in years to come, laugh, and doff the cap to CW in a twisted Ironic way?

Just putting this out there and i know many will tear a strip off me for this which i fully understand

"The Blue Knights" are a no go for me.

The Blue Knight will not be getting a penny from me

As we know the "Blue Knights" have been making a lot of noise in the press about buying our club. In the last 24 hours Duff and Phelps have categorically stated that there are serious bidders that have yet to raise their heads into the public eye. Some UK based, at least one in the States and one from the far east.

Over night on Follow Follow Mark Dingwall has told people on there that,"It's the Blue Knights or liquidation"

This is a lie.

Why?

Because for him to say that he would have to have know who the other bidders are, how much money they have, what their business plan is for Rangers and who they will bring into the boardroom at Ibrox.

There's no chance of him knowing that. Business people keep their cards held firmly  against their chest as they don't want other bidders to undercut them. How on earth Mr Dingwall can say what he has is frankly insulting and should warn us all what kind of people the "Blue Knights" have involved with them. He's treating the Rangers support with contempt. He thinks we're stupid is what i'm getting at. Do NOT be fooled people.

I hold my hands up and will say i don't know much about him, but what i do know is i've yet to read anything positive about him. It's my opinion that Mr Dingwall is the cancer that keeps us as fans from uniting under one big blue umbrella. I have no doubt he's a die hard Rangers fan, but with obscured visions and ideas of gander for his own ego, which is a very dangerous thing for any Rangers fan to accept.

If i am wrong about Mr Dingwall, then please let the Rangers fans know what your own PERSONAL vision is of yourself and your involvement with OUR Football Club

It's now very plain to see for anyone with a brain that this guy is in this for himself. He wants to be in the boardroom at Ibrox and will do anything, and say anything to do it, that is very dangerous for Rangers fans to accept.

It also seems to me that Duff and Phelps are not to convinced with the Blue Knights. They have called them out twice now in the media

Here's what they said in the last 24 hours,"Clark said that only "serious bidders" would be considered by the end the week. "So anybody who has just been talking – and there are a few out there who have done a lot of talking – we want to seek them out and, as it were, put their money where their mouth is. If somebody wants to involve the media, that's fine. And if they become the owner then they can sit on the front page of all the papers saying: 'I did it.' But don't be surprised if that owner isn't one of the people that is media friendly."

There's also the issue with them bringing Tickitus into the frame as a backer. That set off a huge alarm bell in my own head as well as many other Bears. Duff and Phelps have said that the money is not secured against anything to do with Rangers, and the fact that Mr Whyte used the money to pay off the bank before he owned Rangers means the chances of them getting that money back are slim. It's almost verging on the insulting to Rangers fans who've been put through the ringer these last few weeks.

They're panicking that they're not going to get their money back, and from their point of view, getting involved with Rangers will hopefully mean they the cash back.
We all  have to ask ourselves, "are they really in this for the good of The Rangers, or are they in this to get their money back and even make money out of Rangers?" Think about it, each and every penny that Tickitus take back could be used to either strengthen our clubs playing staff, pay off the small creditors that we have undoubtably  have, or improve Ibrox stadium.
They've already made a hash of the £24 MILLION loan they gave to Craig Whyte, is that the sort of company we want with some sort of control at Ibrox? You also need to ask "why have they never bought a football club in the past?

To be fair and honest, they may well have a business plan that would benefit us in the long run, and if they, and the Blue Knights have sat down and come up with a marvellous vision for our future, then lets hear it NOW! We're tied of these games, we need clarity.

I personally don't think the Blue Knights will be our new owners anyway. By all accounts there are interviews in todays sunday papers with various powers that be, including David Murray, who don't believe the Blue Knights will be the new owners, he believes it will be someone that has no connections with Rangers at all. That is what i would like. A clean slate with someone with money to spend, and good clean transparent background.
Yes, i also know that this could be sour grapes from David Murray. Think of this though, no matter what we think of David Murray, he was our owner for 20 odd years, it would be wise for a future investor to lift the phone to him and have a "chat" about our club. I very much doubt David Murray would under sell us, he will give them the cold hard facts and tell them that there is money to be made, but be aware of the pressures that surround Rangers Football Club, but still, i think he'd finish the call by saying ,"It's a great opportunity for you"
I am NO David Murray fan for the record. This mess is all his, but the guy is a businessman, so i'm giving him a the benefit of the doubt there, which i know others won't and will shoot me down for, which i do understand. (in the same article he says the Rangers situation is NOT his fault)

I'd also like to say a huge thank you to the players that took the wage reductions therefor saving all jobs at Ibrox and at our training facility. We won't forget it.

The Damage Done

The Damage done by our haters has long lasting effects that has put lives in danger at future football matches.

As we know, we're in a very sad predicament in the history of our great football club. We may survive as Rangers football Club, we may not. For the purpose of this blog that does not matter as some form of Rangers football club will still be here.

Now, we all know who the haters are, it's the way it is, as i said in my first blog the shadow we cast over the other teams is far bigger than any of us thought, and it flatters me, i had no idea they felt so inferior to us. Why else would they be filled with so much hate and venom?

The problem is there's now a real evil "rivalry" evolving at a swift rate. Games will now not be about normal football banter between various teams. It will be "hahah fuck you Rangers! you died as a club and we helped do it!"

It's human nature for a lot of us to react with more than words back. I'm afraid that there's going to be a lot of physical violence inside and outside football stadia in bitter and twisted Scotland now. I am not condoning this, but i honestly can't see it not happening. God knows what's going to happen at the next OF game, and if anyone thinks that Rangers fans are going to be Angels at it is wrong IMHO.
I know that the various Chairmen and others reading this will say that they can not be held responsible for the actions of other people, sorry, you can, you have a responsibility to the footballing public to act in a dignified manner, you're supposed to be the "brains" in our games and at our clubs, well, you're not acting like it at all

I know there will be people reading this say i'm talking shit and Rangers fans are above that kind of behaviour, that's fine, but i don't believe it, not by a long shot, not when these people have helped burry our club and rejoice in our demise.

The SFA and SPL powers that be, as well as other clubs chairmen past and present are helping to stoke this cauldron of hate by acting in a unprofessional manner. Is this what they really want? Have they actually thought that the words they say in the press and spoken media is actually putting peoples lives at risk at their own football grounds? More to the point, do they realise they have lost tens of thousands of pounds in gate revenue from Rangers fans with long memories?

They've missed a chance to help bring fans of other teams together with either helping us in one way or another (like we will do with Dunfermline) or at least having sympathy with our situation. I am not saying we should not go unpunished, we should, but not with these new "Rangers Rules" they are inventing each and every day it seems

One thing's for sure, these away stadium should have ZERO Rangers fans in them in the following years. Rangers should beam back games to Ibrox where we are with our own and the money we pass over to the  food kiosks and turnstiles goes into the pockets of Rangers football club, not bitter and twisted rival football teams. We should also only give them the minimum amount of tickets required at increased prices.

For the record i am not talking about the Casual element we have at Ibrox, i am talking about the normal fan that basically just can't handle having someone in their face about this, i know i would struggle personally
