The Damage Done

The Damage done by our haters has long lasting effects that has put lives in danger at future football matches.

As we know, we're in a very sad predicament in the history of our great football club. We may survive as Rangers football Club, we may not. For the purpose of this blog that does not matter as some form of Rangers football club will still be here.

Now, we all know who the haters are, it's the way it is, as i said in my first blog the shadow we cast over the other teams is far bigger than any of us thought, and it flatters me, i had no idea they felt so inferior to us. Why else would they be filled with so much hate and venom?

The problem is there's now a real evil "rivalry" evolving at a swift rate. Games will now not be about normal football banter between various teams. It will be "hahah fuck you Rangers! you died as a club and we helped do it!"

It's human nature for a lot of us to react with more than words back. I'm afraid that there's going to be a lot of physical violence inside and outside football stadia in bitter and twisted Scotland now. I am not condoning this, but i honestly can't see it not happening. God knows what's going to happen at the next OF game, and if anyone thinks that Rangers fans are going to be Angels at it is wrong IMHO.
I know that the various Chairmen and others reading this will say that they can not be held responsible for the actions of other people, sorry, you can, you have a responsibility to the footballing public to act in a dignified manner, you're supposed to be the "brains" in our games and at our clubs, well, you're not acting like it at all

I know there will be people reading this say i'm talking shit and Rangers fans are above that kind of behaviour, that's fine, but i don't believe it, not by a long shot, not when these people have helped burry our club and rejoice in our demise.

The SFA and SPL powers that be, as well as other clubs chairmen past and present are helping to stoke this cauldron of hate by acting in a unprofessional manner. Is this what they really want? Have they actually thought that the words they say in the press and spoken media is actually putting peoples lives at risk at their own football grounds? More to the point, do they realise they have lost tens of thousands of pounds in gate revenue from Rangers fans with long memories?

They've missed a chance to help bring fans of other teams together with either helping us in one way or another (like we will do with Dunfermline) or at least having sympathy with our situation. I am not saying we should not go unpunished, we should, but not with these new "Rangers Rules" they are inventing each and every day it seems

One thing's for sure, these away stadium should have ZERO Rangers fans in them in the following years. Rangers should beam back games to Ibrox where we are with our own and the money we pass over to the  food kiosks and turnstiles goes into the pockets of Rangers football club, not bitter and twisted rival football teams. We should also only give them the minimum amount of tickets required at increased prices.

For the record i am not talking about the Casual element we have at Ibrox, i am talking about the normal fan that basically just can't handle having someone in their face about this, i know i would struggle personally
